The message calls us to examine whether we're building churches on entertainment, self-help teachings, and attracting crowds, or whether we're truly magnifying Jesus and allowing His Word to transform us. Like the temple cleansing in Matthew 21, we need to remove anything that pollutes the house of God and return to being a house of prayer. The parable of the ten virgins becomes urgently relevant—five were prepared with extra oil, five were not. When the bridegroom arrived, only those who had invested in their relationship with God were ready.
